MODIFIED NOTICE INVITING TENDER

For Capital Maintenance of Hitachi make generating units of Kosi Hydel Power Station (4x4.8 MW)

at Kataiya, Birpur, Supaul

  

       

Commissioned in 1970-78, the Kosi Hydroelectric Power Station at Kataiya near the sub-Divisional town of Birpur in the District of Supaul, Bihar, is equipped with four "Hitachi" Japan make turbine/generators, each having 4.8 MW installed capacity. Of these four units two have not been operated for a long time due to damages/failures of main parts. No renovation work could be taken up after commissioning of turbine, generators and other auxiliaries/facilities in the power house.

 

Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corporation now propose to renovate/uprate this power station at an estimated cost of Rs. 35 crore with funds being provided by the Government of Bihar

 

In supercession of NIT No. 08/Elect./06-07 of 22.12.06 sealed tenders in two parts i.e. Part-I  (Technical & Commercial) and Part-II (Price) in quadruplicate are hereby invited with modified scope of work and programme from national/International contractors, for capital overhauling and renovation of generating units of the Kosi Hydroelectric Power Station, Kataiya. The tenderer fully versed with Hitachi, Japan make machine shall be preferred. The contractors who have already deposited cost of tender document against NIT No. 08/Elect./06-07 dated 22.12.06 will be supplied tender documents against this tender and they need not apply afresh. The intending tenderers must have annual turnover of at least Rs. 20,00,00,000/- (Rupees Twenty crores).

 

       The revised  programme of tender is as below:-

 

1.	Cost of tender documents	:	Rs. 10,000.00 (Non-Refundable)
2.	Sale of tender document	:	From 26.2.07 to 12.3.07
3.	Pre-bid meeting	:	29.03.07
4.	Last date of submission of offer	:	17.04.07 upto 4 P.M.
5.	Due date/time of opening of Part-I  (Tech. & Comm.)	:	18.04.07 at 3 P.M.

 

Tender documents may be obtained from the office of the undersigned at Patna in person or by post on any working day. The cost towards purchase of tender documents may be deposited in cash or through bank draft on any nationalized bank payable at Patna drawn in favour of Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited.  An additional amount of Rs. 200/- (Rupees two hundred) only towards postal charge for the documents by registered post shall have to be deposited extra.

 

BHPC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof.
