Construction of Escape Arrangement for Valmikinagar HEP

(3x5 MW) Dist. West Champaran

 

 

 

BHPC is contemplating to provide escape (Consisting of fine components) from the tailrace channel of OECF assisted Eastern Gandak Canal HEP, (3x5 MW) Valmikinagar with the financial assistance of Rural Electrification Corporation Ltd. (REC) vide letter No. 929 dated 03.01.2006 have sanctioned loan for these works.

 

(A)    Sealed tenders in two parts, Part-I, Pre-qualification i.e. Technical Part and Part-II, "Price bid" for each are invited from reputed and experience contractors for execution of following jobs":-

(B)    N.I.T. No. Tender Code and "Technical Part" or "Price Part" as applicable must be written on each sealed envelope of the tender/offer.

 

(C)    Tender documents for each of the jobs may be obtained from office of the undersigned on any working day during office hours on payment as indicated above in cash or by demand draft in favour of Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd. payable at Patna. An additional amount of Rs. 250/- (Rupees Two hundred fifty) only is to be deposited for obtaining the tender documents by post. BHPC is not responsible if Tender document is lost by the Post Office.

 

(D)    Programme of Tendering as follows:-

 

        i)     Sale of Tender                           :   23.02.2006 to  06.03.2006

        ii)    Pre bid discussion                       :    10.03.2006

        iii)   Submission of tender                   :    20.03.2006 to 27.03.2003

        iv)   Date of opening of Tender Part-I   :    28.03.2006 at 12.30 P.M.  

              (Pre-qualification) i.e. Technical Part)

   

 (E)    Date of opening of "Part-II i.e. Price Bid" of the Pre-qualified tenderers will be intimated to them separately.

 

(F)    Tenders without requisite Earnest Money shall be rejected out right. The Earnest Money may be deposited in the form of Demand Draft/Cash/National Savings Certificates or Bank Guarantee.

 

(G)     A part of the proposed Escape Channel passed through private land, acquisition of which will be responsibility of the contractor cost of acquisition will be reimbursed by the Corporation at the rate fixed by the Revenue department, Govt. of Bihar.

 

(H)    The contractor should be registered with Sales Tax/Employees Fund Organization.

 

(I)    The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all tenders without assigning any reason, or to divide the work amongst different tenderers.
