Notice Inviting Tender

NIT No. 03/Elect./06-07 / Dated 27.04.2006 /

Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corporation (BHPC) are utilising low-head available on canal systems of the State, setting up a series of small hydro power projects with financial assistance from the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).

Sealed tenders in two parts i.e. Part-I (Technical & Commercial) and Part-II (Price) in quadruplicate are invited from manufacturers, their authorized dealers or experience financial sound contractor for design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of 11/0.4 KV switch yard equipment for following projects on turn key basis:-

1. Scope of Work :-

(A) Design, manufacture, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of switchyard equipments alongwith erection, testing and commissioning of generator transformers and station auxiliary transformers. The generator transformer and station auxiliary transformer are being arranged by BHPC separately.

(B) Earthing of equipment, supply of power and control cable, construction of cable trench laying of cable including supply erection, testing and commissioning of control and metering panel.

2. Completion Period : 4 months from the date of issue of L.O.I.

3. The cost (non refundable) of tender document as mentioned in the table given below is to be deposited in cash at Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corporation, Patna or by Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank payable at Patna, in favour of "Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd". An additional sum of Rs. 250.00 (Rupees two hundred and fifty) only for each tender document is to be deposited if tender documents are desired by post:

4. Before submitting the offer, bidders are advised to visit the project sites to get themselves fully acquainted with the site conditions.

7. Pre-Qualifications:-

i) The Bidder should be Equipment Manufacturer, their authorized dealer or experience financial sound contractor and should have designed, Manufactured, Supplied, Erected & Commissioned atleast two similar or higher capacity switchyard.

ii) The annual turn-over of the Bidder should not be less than Rs. 100.00 lacs for last two years.

iii) The bidder should be registered under Sales Tax Act, Employees Provident Funds and miscellaneous Provision Act and have Income Tax Clearance for the last two years.

iv) The bidder should not be blacklisted by BSHPC, Bihar Govt. or other State Electricity Board/Corporation.

8. The undersigned reserves the right for splitting the work and/or rejecting any or all other tenders without assigning any reason there of.
