Construction of Escape Arrangement for Valmikinagar HEP (3x5 MW) Distt. West Champaran

 

 

  

 

BHPC, with funds provided in the State Plan to provide Escape (consisting of six components) from the tailrace channel of its Eastern Gandak Canal HEP Project (3x5 MW) Valmikinagar

 

(A)    Sealed tenders in two parts; Part-I, Pre-qualification i.e. Technical Part and Part-II, "Price bid" for each of the following works are invited from reputed and experienced contractors:

(B)    NIT No., Tender Code and "Technical Part" or "Price Part" as applicable must be written on each sealed envelope of the tender/offer.

 

(C)    Tender documents for each of the works may be obtained from office of the undersigned on any working day during office hours on payment as indicated above in cash or by demand draft in favour of Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd., payable at Patna./ An additional amount of Rs. 250/(Rupees two hundred fifty) only is to be deposited for obtaining the tender documents by post. BHPC is not responsible if tender documents is lost by the Post Office.

 

(d)    Tender documents for ES-1, ES-2 & ES-3 will be supplied without any additional cost to those tenderers who had already  deposited the cost tender document against NIT No. 01/Civil/2005-06 bu t they intend to quote again.

 

(E)    Programme of Tendering

       i)   Sale of Tender                             :    17.09.2007 to 28.09.2007

         ii)  Submission of tender                  :    Upto 10.10.2007

        iii)  Date of opening of tender part-I (Pre-qualification i.e. Technical Part): 11.10.2007 at 12.30 PM

 

(F)    Date of opening of "Part-2 i.e. Price Bid" of the qualified tenderers will be intimated to them separately.

 

(G)    A part of the proposed Escape Channel passes through private land, acquisition of which will be the reconcilability of the contractor. The cost of acquisition will be reimbursed by the Corporation at the rate fixed by the Revenue  Department, Govt. of Bihar.

 

(H)    Tenders without requisite Earnest Money shall be rejected outright. The Earnest Monsey may be deposited in the Form of Demand Draft/Cash/National Savings Certificates or bank Guarantee.

 

(I)    The Contractor should be registered with Sales Tax, Employees Provident Fund Organization.

 

(J)    The undersigned reserves the right to reject  any or all tenders or to tenders or to divide the work amongst different tenderers without assigning any reason.
