Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corporation (BHPC) are utilising low-head available on canal systems of the State, setting up a series of small hydro power projects with financial assistance from the National Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development (NABARD).

 

Sealed tenders in quadruplicate are invited from transformer, manufacturers, their authorized dealers  for design, manufacture, supply, supervision of erection, testing and commissioning of station auxiliary transformers for following projects:-

1.   Scope of Work :-

    Detailed Design/Engineering, Manufacturing, supply, supervision of Erection, Testing &    

    Commissioning of Station Auxiliary Transformers of following capacities and rating :-

2.   Completion Period :

     The completion period for the supplies shall be 3 months from the issue of letter of intent.

 

3.   Earnest Money in the  shape of  CDR/NSC, Bank Draft, Fixed Deposit Receipts or Bank

     Guarantee from the scheduled   Commercial    Bank   shall  be deposited alongwith the

     tender at the following rates:-

 

    i)    2% of Tendered Value    -    Upto Rs. 25.00 lacs

                                                 Max. Rs. 50,000/-

    ii)    1% of Tendered Value    -    Above Rs. 25.00 lacs

                                                 Min. Rs. 50,000/- & Max. Rs. 1.00 lac.

 

Any State Government/Government of India undertakings and Small Scale Industries Units of Bihar Registered with the Department of Industries, Government of Bihar, are exempted from depositing the earnest money. In the absence of required earnest money, tender shall be rejected.

 

 4.    The cost (non refundable) of tender document is Rs. 1,250.00 (Rupees one thousand two hundred fifty) only, to be deposited in cash at Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corporation, Patna or by Demand Draft drawn on any Nationalized Bank payable at Patna, in the favour of "Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd.". An additional sum of Rs. 250.00 (Rupees two hundred and fifty) only for each tender document is to be deposited if tender documents are desired by post.

 

5.   Before submitting the offer, bidders are advised to visit the project sites to get themselves fully acquainted with the site conditions.

 

6.    The tender shall be submitted and opened as per the following programme:-

7.    The tender documents can be obtained from the office of the Chief Engineer (Elect.), Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd., Sone Bhawan, IInd Floor, Birchand Patel Marg, Patna  - 800001. Tel. 0612-2224002/2228267, Fax - 0612-2227692, E-mail  bshpc@bih.nic.in on any working day during office hours from 10.00 hours to 17.00 hours.

 

8.        Pre-Qualifications :

 

i)    The Bidder should be Equipment Manufacture or their authorized dealer and should have designed, Manufactured, Supplied, Erected & Commissioned atleast two similar or higher capacity transformers.

 

ii)    The tender documents shall be issued only to the Equipment Manufacturers or their  authorized dealers whose annual turn over has been Rs. 100.00 lacs (Rupees One hundred lacs) or above during last five years. The authorized dealer have to submit "letter of authorization" from the manufacturer on whose behalf he intends to submit tender.

 

iii)    The bidder should be registered under Sales Tax Act, Employees Provident Funds and Miscellaneous Provision Act and have Income Tax clearance for the last two years.

 

iv)    The bidder should not be blacklisted by BSHPC, Bihar Govt., or other State Electricity Board/Corporation.

 

9.        The undersigned reserves the right for splitting the work and/or rejecting any or all the tenders without assigning any reason there of.
