Sealed tenders in duplicate are invited from reputed and experienced tenderer in two parts PART-I-Pre-qualification bid and PART-2-Price bid for pre-construction survey, design, drawing, construction of civil and allied structures of canal based low head - (rated head range 3-5 m) SHP's comprising of power channel, Intake pool, powerhouse, tail pool, tail race channel and allied works conforming to the design of E/M equipment supplier for the following SHP's:-

2.0 Terms & conditions of the Tender :-

 (i)    The completion period for each project is 24 months from the the date of issue of letter of intent. 

(ii)    Earnest money of Rs. 1.00 lakh in the shape of cash deposit receipt/NSC/Bank Draft/Bank Guarantee/Fixed Deposit Receipt from Nationalized Banks in favour of Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd. Patna shall be submitted with the tender. The State/Central Govt. Undertakings are exempted from depositing earnest money. In absence of the require earnest money, tender shall be rejected.

(iii)    The tenderer must have  commissioned/completed similar type of work such as major irrigation structures viz. hydroelectric project, bridge, cross drainage works, fall, escape regulators weir dam and barrage etc.

(iv)    The tender must have completed the work amounting to Rs. 250 lac in last five years.

(v)     Before submitting the offer bidders are required to visit the project site to get themselves fully acquainted with actual site and have complete idea of prevailing conditions.

(vi)    The cost (non-refundable) of tender documents for each project is Rs. 10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand) which is to be deposited in cash at Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd., Patna office or through Demand Draft of a Nationalized Bank payable at patna in favour of Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd., Patna. An additional sum of Rs. 250/- (Rupees two hundred fifty) only is to be deposited if tender documents are desired  post.

(vii)    These projects are co-financed by NABARD under RIDF-VIII programme.

(viii)    The tender papers will be sold, submitted and opened as per the following programme:-

    (1)    Date of sale of tender paper            -    From 30.06.08 to 11.07.2008

    (2)    Date of Pre-bid conference              -    15.07.08 at 12.00 hrs.

    (3)    Date of submission of tender            -    upto 21.07.08 till 4.00 PM

    (4)    Date of opening of Tender (Part-I)    -    (A)    Dehra 22.07.08 at 3.30 PM

                                                                   (B)    Sipaha 23.07.08 at 3.30 PM

    (5)    Date of opening of Part-2(Price bid) of pre-qualified tenders will be communicated to them separately.

(ix)        Pre bid conference shall be arranged at Patna on 15.07.08 at 12.00 hrs. at BHPC Office, Sone Bhawan, Patna - 800 001

(x)    The tender document may be obtained from the office of the undersigned on any working day from 30.06.2008 to 11.07.2008 from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm.

(xi)    The undersigned reserves the right to reject any or all tenders or to divide the work amongst different tenderers without assigning any reason.
