NOTICE INVITING TENDER

 

            The Nirmali H.E. Project (4 x 1.75 MW), one of nine projects which have received grant from the Union Ministry of New and Renewable Energy (MNRE) for preparation of pre-feasibility reports, is an extremely important project for BHPC and the State and its execution will be another step towards making the Kosi Basin the energy belt of Bihar.

 

The project is to be developed at a site on the Tiljuga river in district Supaul which is well connected by road and rail.

 

            The details of the project are -

 

 

            (1)        Gross head                  -           4.50 m

            (2)        Net Head                      -           3.77m

            (3)        Design Discharge        -           225 cumecs

 

 

            The scope of the execution will include detailed survey, design and construction of civil structures, manufacturing/fabrication, supply of E/M equipment, their erection, testing, commissioning  and operation & maintenance of the hydro power station for one year after successful commissioning.

 

        Separate sealed tenders in two parts i.e. Techno-commercial part-I and Price part-II are invited for the Nirmali H.E. Project from reputed and experienced tenderers. The particulars of works, cost of tender document and the earnest money to be deposited are as detailed below:-

Tender documents may be obtained from the office of the undersigned on any working day during office hours on paying the cost of tender documents in the form of cash / Bank Draft in favour of "Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corporation Limited" payable at Patna. As additional amount of Rs.250/- (Rupees two hundred fifty) only is to be deposited towards postal charges if the tender documents  are desired by post.

 

            The sale of tender documents, submission of tender / offer and the opening of the tenders for both the jobs will be as per the following programme :-

 

1.	Sale of tender documents	-	5.3.2010 to 25.3.2010
2.	Pre-Bid Conference	-	12.4.2010/1.30 PM
3.	Last date of submission of offer	-	26.4.2010
4.	Due date & time for opening of Part-I (Technical & Commercial) offer	-	27.4.2010/2.30 PM

           

             Notwithstanding anything above, the Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corporation Ltd. reserves the right to assess tenderers, technical and financial credential and capacity for executing the above work. If such an assessment warrants/calls for rejection of any tender in public interest, the decision of the BHPC in this regard shall be final.

 

             The tender without earnest money as per the requirement mentioned  above shall be rejected outright.
