1. Bihar State Hydroelectric Power Corporation (B.H.P.C.) have got loan from Government of Bihar towards the cost of renovation & modernisation of Hydel Project and it is intends that the loan amount will be used under the contract named above.

 

2. B.H.P.C. invites sealed Bids from eligible Bidder for following works :-

 

(i)   Renovation & Modernisation and Uprating of Unit No.-I, II, III & IV of the Kosi     Hydel Power Plant (4 x 4.8 MW) of which the main generating equipment are of Hitachi, Japan make.

 

3. Estimated Cost   :           Rs.3500.00 lacs (Rupees thirty five crore) only.

 

4. National/International Competitive Bidding will be conducted in accordance   with B.H.P.C.'s two stage. Two sealed envelope, separately one for   Technical & Commercial Part-I and another Price Part-II Bidding Procedure. The Bidders fully versed with Hitachi, Japan make machine shall be preferred. The intending tenderers must have annual turn-over of atleast Rs.2000.00 lacs.

 

5. To obtain further information and inspect the Bidding Document, Bidders should contact at the address given below :-

                    from 09:30 hrs. to 18:00 hrs. on all working days.

 

6. To purchase the Bidding Document in English, eligible Bidders should :-  

•   Pay a non-refundable fee of Rs.25,000/- (Rupees twenty five   thousand) only. Additional cost of Rs.250/- towards postal charges, if required.

•   No liability will be accepted for loss or late delivery of the bidding documents.

 

7.         Bidders must deliver their Bid in quarduplicate :-

•   To the address mentioned at point no.-5.

•   On or before the deadline : 17:00 hrs., Indian Standard Time, 27th January,      2010  together with earnest money of Rs.1,00,000/- (Rupees one Lac) only.

•   Late bids shall be rejected.

8.         Technical & Commercial Part-I Bids will be opened at 15:00 hrs.IST on 28th January, 2010 at above address.

 

9.         B.H.P.C. will not be responsible for any costs or expenses incurred by Bidders in connection with preparation or delivery of Bids.

 

10.       A Pre-Bid Conference will be held at Patna on 4th January, 2010 at   above address.

 

11.       B.H.P.C. reserves the right to accept or reject any or all the tenders without assigning any reason thereof.
