Identification of Hydropower sites in river basins and Preparation of Pre
- feasibility Report (PFR) after
conducting river survey
Sealed Tenders are invited in duplicate from registered,
and reputed consultancy organizations experienced in all aspects of
hydroelectric development in two parts i.e. Techno-Commercial Part-I and
Price part-II for survey and preparation of P.F.R on following rivers :-

The Scope of Work under
this N.I.T in brief is detailed below:-

The Scope of Work under this N.I.T in brief is detailed below:-

a. |
Survey for taking cross sections of the above mentioned rivers at
suitable intervals. |
|
b. |
Determination of
L-section (in Bihar only) of each river derived from the deepest river
bed of the cross sections. |
|
c. |
Identification of the locations for setting up
hydroelectric power generating Plants from the L-section of the
rivers. |
|
d. |
Measurement of gauge
and discharge at identified location for 12 months |
|
e. |
Collection of
discharge data at identified/ important locations from WRD,
Bihar/CWC. etc, if available. |
|
f. |
Determination of
catchments area of the river at each identified site and calculation
of design flood. |
|
g. |
Development of
elevation - area - capacity curve at each barrage / weir site.
|
|
h. |
Geo-technical study
from the GSI report. |
|
i. |
Hydro Power Potential
studies. |
|
j. |
Preparation of PFR at
each of the identified sites. |
Qualifying criteria:-
|
1. |
Bidders /Organization
must be registered under companies Act. |
|
2. |
Bidders should have
experience of at least 5 yeas in river survey,preparation of PFR and
DPR of Hydro Power projects. |
|
3. |
The organization must
be registered with EPF organization, service tax, department Excise
department and Income Tax department. |
|
4. |
The Organization
should have a properly established office (s) having well qualified
and experienced engineering and technical staff on his roll. |
|
5. |
The organization should have
at least
following survey instruments:-
(i) Total station
(ii) Auto level with prismatic compass
(iii) Global Position System (G.P.S)
(iv) Echo Sounder
(v) Current meter |
|
6. |
The organization
should have prepared at least 5 PFR of Hydro Power Projects for Public
sector/ Govt. Organization and have prepared PFR/DPR on which project
have been commissioned / or under construction. |
|
7. |
The organization
should have minimum turn over of Rs. 200.00 lac annually for at least
three years. |
Tender documents may be obtained from the
office of the undersigned on any working day during office hours on the
payment of the cost of tender documents for each package separately in the
form of Cash / Bank Draft in
favour
of "Bihar State Hydroelectric power Corporation Limited" payable at Patna.
If the tender documents are desired by post, additional amount of Rs.250/-
(Rs. two hundred fifty) only is to be deposited towards postal charges.
The sale of
tender document, submission of tender/offer and the opening of the
tenders/offers will be as per the following programme:-

The price part of technically successful bidder will be intimated later
on.
Notwithstanding anything above, the Bihar State Hydroelectric Power
Corporation Ltd reserves the right to assess tenderers' technical and
financial credential and capacity for executing the above work. If such an
assessment warrants / calls for rejection of any tender in public
interest, the decision of the BHPC in this regard shall be final.
The tender without Earnest
Money as mentioned above shall be rejected outright.
